1. The content is the coverage of the midterm exam plus the part of chapter 6 (until section 6.5) and sections 5.1 - 5.3.
2. Everyone is allowed to bring one page (both sides) of note into the exam.

Read carefully page 173-181 of the text book, and the Lab 1 handout downloadable from the web.  This assignment    should be done by next Monday and no need to hand in anything. The Lab will start around 10/16.  Students should begin to form groups of three to do the Labs.  There are totally three Labs for the course.  Each group will work together on the experiments but write reports individually.
